Important: Parabellum Solutions is a new South African legal entity in formation. Its legal form, registration number, registered address, and dedicated privacy mailbox will be added before commercial launch. This draft requires South African legal review before it is treated as final.
1. Who is responsible
Parabellum Solutions, based in South Africa, operates Content Pulse and is the intended responsible party for the personal information described here. Until a dedicated privacy mailbox is established, privacy requests may be submitted through the Content Pulse contact form.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiries: name, work email, organisation, product interest, and the message you send.
- Insights subscriptions: the email address used to subscribe, plus unsubscribe status.
- Protected access: essential access-state cookies and limited security information such as IP address, browser details, approximate location, time, and whether access succeeded. Submitted passcodes are not included in access alerts.
- Blog administration: administrator session information and the article content entered by authorised administrators.
- Technical records: standard service and security logs generated by our hosting and database providers.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, manage subscriptions, protect confidential pages and administrative tools, operate and secure the website, publish approved Insights content, keep appropriate records, and comply with legal obligations. Where we send direct marketing, we intend to do so only on an appropriate lawful basis and with a working opt-out.
4. Service providers and cross-border processing
The website currently uses Vercel for hosting and delivery, Supabase for marketing records and articles, and Resend where configured for server-side notifications. These providers may process information outside South Africa. We will use contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to that processing and review provider arrangements before commercial launch.
5. Cookies
The public marketing pages do not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential cookies may be used for gated presentation access and administrator sessions. Because these cookies support security and requested functionality, blocking them may prevent those areas from working. If non-essential analytics or advertising technology is introduced, this notice and the consent experience must be updated first.
6. Retention and security
We retain enquiries and subscriptions only for as long as they remain useful for the stated purpose, legal recordkeeping, dispute handling, or security. Before commercial launch, Parabellum Solutions will approve a formal retention schedule. We apply access controls, server-side validation, protected credentials, and managed infrastructure, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access or correction, ask for deletion where appropriate, object to processing, withdraw consent where consent is relied on, or opt out of direct marketing. Use the contact form and select “General demo”; write “Privacy request” at the start of your message.
8. Complaints
We ask that you contact us first so we can investigate. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator through its official eServices portal or review the Regulator’s complaints guidance.
9. Changes
We will update the effective date and this notice when the entity particulars are confirmed, processing changes, or the site adds new data practices. Material changes will be made visible on this page.
