Content Pulse is operated by Parabellum Solutions, South Africa (“we”, “us”).
1. The service
Content Pulse reads the content you publish, turns it into social posts and videos in your brand, publishes them to the social accounts you connect, and reports how they perform. Our plugins are free software under their own licences (for example, the GNU General Public License); these terms cover the service they connect to, not your rights in a plugin’s code.
2. Your account
Connecting a website or other source creates a Content Pulse account for it. The person who does so must be allowed to bind the website’s owner to these terms. You are responsible for the people you let use the plugin, including editors you give access to Approvals, and for keeping the administrator accounts of your website secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.
3. Plans, trials and payment
- Plans, prices and any trial are shown during setup and on the Plan & Billing page. Publishing needs an active plan.
- Payments are processed by our reseller and payment provider, Creem, on its own checkout pages. Creem’s terms also apply to the purchase. We never see your full card details.
- Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel from Plan & Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and is not refunded for the unused part, except where the law requires a refund.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase, which applies from your next renewal. Prices exclude taxes unless stated.
- If a payment fails and is not corrected, we may pause publishing until it is.
4. Your content
You keep all rights in your articles, images, logos and other material (“your content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, adapt and transform your content into posts, captions, summaries, voiceovers and videos, and to publish and distribute them on the internet: on the social accounts you connect, and on other websites, apps and platforms that we run or work with, to bring people to your content. Wherever we distribute it, we credit your publication and link back to your original. The licence lasts while you use the service; material already published when you leave may stay where it is until it is removed under section 9. You confirm that you have the rights to let us do this, including for photographs and for any person shown in them. We do not sell your content.
5. Social accounts
You connect each social account on the network’s own sign-in page; we never receive those passwords. Each network’s own terms apply to what is posted there. Networks may reject, limit, remove or reduce the reach of posts, or change how their service works; we are not responsible for their decisions, and we cannot guarantee any level of reach or engagement.
6. Automatically written and made material
Captions, summaries, voiceovers and videos are produced automatically, partly with artificial intelligence. They are written from your content and checked against it, but they can still contain mistakes. You decide whether posts wait for approval or go out on their own; if you let them go out on their own, you accept responsibility for what is published in your name.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to publish material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or spam, or to break any network’s rules. You may not try to get around plan limits, interfere with the service or access anyone else’s account. We may hold or remove a post, or suspend publishing, where we reasonably believe this rule has been broken, and will tell you why.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, unless a separate written agreement gives a service level. We may improve or change features; if a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
9. Ending the service
You can stop at any time: cancel your plan, disconnect your social accounts, or delete the plugin. We may suspend or end your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms or for non-payment, after notice where reasonable. After an account ends, we delete or anonymise your content and account data within 90 days, except records we must keep by law, and we stop distributing your content anywhere new. Posts already published on your social accounts stay there until you delete them; you can ask us to remove material we published elsewhere.
10. Personal information
Our Privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Where your content contains personal information about other people (for example, a named author), you are the responsible party for it and we process it as your operator under the Protection of Personal Information Act, only to provide the service.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties beyond those in these terms; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. You are responsible for claims arising from content you supply. Nothing here limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. For a material change we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the plugin or by email; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. These terms are governed by South African law. Questions and notices can be sent through the contact form until a dedicated address is published.
